The visual identity of the Zurich art gallery RaebervonStenglin was created with the use of two characters: the name of the gallery is in Dada Grotesk while practical information (address, phone number, etc.) is given in Prestige Elite, a monospaced typeface. The design and the creation of invitation cards adhered rigorously to the principle that the system should be as economical as possible. A stamp is created for each exhibition with an original typographical composition and used to make hand-printed invitation cards. In this way, each card becomes a unique – and hence precious – object.
